Jordan fell in love with the ocean the moment he moved to the Boothbay region at age 10. Having grown up ice fishing, smelting, and striper fishing with his father, he was a natural on the water. His passion turned into a profession during high school when he was offered a job as a deckhand on Breakaway. One summer was all it took—Jordan knew this was his calling.
From deckhand to captain, Jordan honed his skills aboard Pandion, developing an expert knowledge of the local waterways and the best fishing spots. Over time, fishing became more than just a sport—it became a way of life. After 20 years on the water, Jordan turned his passion and expertise into his own charter company, Reel Addiction Sport Fishing, providing top-tier offshore and inshore adventures for anglers of all levels.

Jordan Caron
Matt’s passion for fishing runs deep—starting at just five years old alongside his grandfather, a commercial lobsterman who also pursued tuna off the coast of Maine. Growing up, he fished traps in Johns Bay and spent every free moment chasing Striped Bass and Mackerel along the coast.
His love for the sport has taken him from Mozambique’s Benguerra Island to the Caribbean, but his true joy comes from sharing the thrill of fishing in Boothbay Harbor. After joining Reel Addiction in 2023, Matt earned his Captain’s license in 2024. When he’s not on the water, he’s a Registered Maine Guide, spending his time hunting bear, moose, and deer. Now, as part of the team, he’s excited to help guests reel in unforgettable memories on the Maine coast.
